I'm doing the same and found great places to stay at: http://www.homeaway.com/vacation. I'd stay in Manuel Antonio. It has the best beaches in the country. They're the cleanest, and whitest. Otherwise stay in the north west Pacific side, it's less rainy and less humid. I've read, and read and read and am still reading up on the country. Have a great honeymoon!!!!http://www.costaricareisen.com/index_eng.htm (this site also helped me with info.)

Sports fishing and ecotourism in Costa Rica is a major industry. Many hotels offer some sort of sports fishing packages from either their own boats like http://www.crocodilebay.com/ has, or they make deals with local captains. It all depends on where your are planing to stay and how serious you are about fishing. If you are serious about catching fish, I would recommend a broker.

Also there are many top fishing brokers that have made discounted arrangements with hotels in an itinerary for travel, hotel and fishing where they past that saving on: Below is a list of a few of the most well-known that have been in business for 25 plus years.
