Panama has a lot to offer. First, on your list is golf. The best course, and the closest, is Summit. It is out on the road to Gamboa. It is a private club, but there are ways to get around that.
On your way there, or back, stop off at the Miraflores Locks because you gotta see the Canal. It's eight bucks to see the museum and watch the movie. But it's free if you tell them you are going for lunch on the 2nd floor. You can sit out on the veranda, sipping your rum and coke and watch the ships go by. Great place to take a date at night too.
For nightlife, make the rounds in the district known as Calle Uruguay. There are a lot of options. This being a Latin city, the crowd starts to drift in about 11:30 to midnight. There will be a lot of chicas there.
Other choices for night life are the Casinos. The Fiesta Casino at the Hotel Panama has great acts and music and they're free. A lot of chicas hang out - some of them are pros.
Two other Casinos, the Veneto and the one in the Marriott are worth a visit too.
The beach is conveniently located 25 miles away. The closest beach is Vera Cruz, on the other side of the Canal. The beach isn't so hot there, but its close.
Beyond that you can go to Gorgona, or Santa Clara, where the beach is very nice and might even be deserted.
Take the girl you met at Calle Uruguay to Las Sirenas, a small, romantic hotel, on the beach in Santa Clara. It is a beautiful place.
If you want a total semi-upscale, all included experience, take her to Playa Blanca, a little further down the Pan American Highway. The beach at this resort is good and the food is very good. All drinks are included.
The best beaches in Panama are on the Caribbean side, but they call it the Atlantic side. A place called Isla Grande is good for surfing and swimming and sun. You get to the island on a water taxi, they stop running at six p.m. That side gets a lot more rain.
We are in the rainy season and it will continue until mid-December. It will be tough to have outside events that don't get you wet, but there are many days when it does not rain.
No matter, you'll still have a good time. |

The most modern city south of Mexico (Panama City) great shopping, great restaurantes and prices reasonable. Like every other city, you have to be careful where you walk but on the whole, its a great place. For incredible beaches, take the highway north and for 200 miles, white and blafck sand beaches, with few visitors, are everywhere. |

Lots of beaches, los pueblos (the shopping plaza very beautiful clothes shopped there all the time), nightclubs, lots of restaurants, and rivers. You will have a great time. Also hotels. |
