main food is pupusas they're sort of small tortillas filled with things like beans and pork,they taste nice with cheese on top of these fillings as well.
National drink is coffee which Salvadorans usually have black,and usually pretty strong as well.

If you want to make them you can find masaca at Walmart.
Mix it will enough oil and water to make it the consistency of clay.
Put the filling in it and pat it down.
Then fry it on a griddle.
Serve with tomato sauce and cabbage salad.
