Yes pinolera, because El Salvador is full of beggars and gang members. Anyways there are a lot of things to do in El Salvador. It has great beaches for surfing in La Libertad where many Americans go to surf. El Salvador has the best malls of all of Central America, and people usually go to La Gran Via, MetroCentro or Galerias. La Zona Rosa is where all the clubs are at, it's a really good night scene there. Lago de Coatepeque (sp?) is considered one of the top ten lakes in the world. There are various Mayan ruins in El Salvador, like Las Ruinas del Tazumal or San Andres. El Salvador is full of volcanoes, like the one in San Salvador which you can climb to the top. There's also El Cerro Verde. You can also catch a soccer/futbol game at any of the local stadiums, Estadio Cuscatlan being the biggest in all of Central America. You can literally go anywhere you please in El Salvador in a short amount of time due to the small size of the country and the good roads and highways in the country.

Food, Nice people, Touristic places, (beaches, museums), sports and adventures (Surfing, hiking), Culture..don't forget the food!!!

Lilium
I guess surf is one of them. So many europeans and australians come up here just to surf. Go to El Zunzal or El Tunco.

I also recommend you to visit La Gran Via or Multiplaza at night. There are many bars, restaurants and clubs.

If you do like nature, go to camping at El Imposible, El Pital, Cerro Verde.

If you do like beach, relex and music, go to Decameron Salinitas

If you do like to see the typical villages, I recommend you to visit Juayua or drive the Ruta de las Flores (Flowers Route)

I also recommend you to check the website www.elsalvador.travel so can have a better idea about how the country is
