What are current problems / events in Costa Rica? |
I need to find an article, in spanish preferably (for spanish class), dealing with a current event in Costa Rica. I'm having trouble finding an article so problems that i could research would be very helpful. Or even an article in itself that i could use for my research would be awesome (: |

The best way to get an article in Spanish is to have a web site of a Costa Rica newspaper or magazine. Sorry I don't have one in Spanish, but I do have one of Costa Rican current events in English. Try:
http://www.ticotimes.net/daily.htm
It might help you locate something in Spanish.

Try the biggest newspaper in town http://nacion.com/
There you should get the info you require.
Good luck on your article. |

Without knowing what type of problems you are looking for or what type interest you the most, you may try reading these two Spanish newspapers. They have everything from the current events of finance and Business, to drugs and alcohol related problems.
La Nacion ( http://www.nacion.com/)
La Prensa Libre ( http://www.prensalibre.co.cr/ )
For more CR Spanish newspapers go to

Beside the the problem on tourists being robbed, there is been a growing problem of real estate fraud. Recently, a Jaco Bank was defrauded of $150,000 from an escrow account, not counting in Golfito developers bulldozed 100s of turtle eggs making way for a new development, which cause outcry from environmentalists. |
