Well, I have lived in Peru and I am currently living the US and I would say that it is a big difference in the type of life you have in each country.
America is a great country and just the size and diversity of the country is something different from Peru. Peru is a very poor country, but it is a beautiful place to live and visit. The people are so welcoming and you just feel alive when you are over there. Even though it is poor, you see the people dance and have a good time and enjoy their life. here in America, you see everybody stressed because of their job and the bills, etc.
But, after all, America is a better place to live in and to raise your children, it is safer and you can make a good living here. It is sad to have to say this, you have to experience Peru to understand what I mean, Peru has so much to offer, but its poverty impairs it to do so.
One thing that I would say that Peru has better than America is the food... the food is delicious, and its one of the most diverse in the world.
In wikipedia it says:
"Thanks to its pre-Incas and Inca heritage and to Spanish, Basque, African, Sino-Cantonese, Japanese and finally Italian, French and British immigration (mainly throughout the 19th century), Peruvian cuisine combines the flavors of four continents. With the eclectic variety of traditional dishes, the Peruvian culinary arts are in constant evolution, and impossible to list in their entirety. Suffice it to mention that along the Peruvian coast alone there are more than two thousand different types of soups, and that there are more than 250 traditional desserts."

The security is much different. No vending machines, they`d steal them.Bars on the first 3 floors of buildings. Chaotic traffic, beggars, wait in line for simple things,...But,it`s beautiful, fun,Beautiful Women, friendly people, but beware, they`ll try to take advantage of you. Great Food, Delicious fruits,..Much different,..I like it there though! |
