Traditionally, it was the coffee the base product of my country. We actually drink a lot of it and many of us have at least once go to a coffee harvest. By the way, do you know how the coffee plant is? Do you know how's its grain? Do you know how it's produced? Is interesting; Internet may help you know. On the Atlantic coast of Costa Rica the climate is apt for banana growth and the United Fruit Company of USA established here some time ago. Recently, it has been tourism the service that has given Costa Rica more incomes: many beaches near the city of San José (4,5 on car), volcanoes, jungles, tropical dry forest and tropical rain forest, exotic animals in their own habitat, nice people and political stability (no army) makes Costa Rica a good place to visit.

Stephanie
Mostly coffee.

Survivor
Costa Rica's basically stable economy depends on tourism, agriculture, and electronics exports.

Agriculture - products:
coffee, pineapples, bananas, sugar, corn, rice, beans, potatoes; beef; timber

Industries:
microprocessors, food processing, textiles and clothing, construction materials, fertilizer, plastic products

That's My Best Answer!

mostly its bananas, pineapples, and coffee. but the way the country gets the most money is from tourism. as most people said, there are many more products, but these are the main ones.
