Well they have really great hiking trails that can be enjoyed solo or you can hire a guide for about $20 + tip. It is worth it to have the knowledgeable assistance they provide and their keen eyes to catch sight of the wildlife!
Also there are really nice beached located in the park and you can go ocean Kayaking if you prefer not to sun bathe. You can go scuba diving in this area but I doubt that is in the National Park.

Take some trips or just walk around, but enjoy nature, there are a lot of animal and plants to see and also enjoy the beach. |

Lucky you. Manuel Antonio is an incredibly beautiful place.
1. Hiking the trails: See the rainforest and scenic bays and coast.
2. Swim at the pristine beaches. Try not to trip on the iguanas.
3. Check out the wildlife. The monkeys often hang out around the beaches and try to steal food from the tourists. You can also see wildlife on the trails, if you are slow, quiet, and attentive, but if you aren't used to it, it can be very hard because the animals are small and the vegetation dense- so getting a guide might be worth it. Also bring binoculars.
Early in the morning, or late evening, there are more animals about, and fewer people. |

I studied abroad in Costa rica and Manuel was my favorite place. The nature park is pretty cool, and if you go through it you can get to a few other beaches. There are tons of animals and stuff to see in the park as well. There is also a little 2 story bar right there which is a nice place to dance at night. In high tide, you will have to pay someone to take you in a boat to the park entrance (or else you can walk it, the water gets like waist high). The beach is beautiful as well. Have fun! Pura Vida |
