Well it is the Atitlan the largest lake of guatemala also it is Amatitlan it is located south of the Guatemala city, There are othes lake like: Izabal, Peten itzá this lake has a city in an island almost in the center of the lake. rivers.... motagua, usumacinta are the largest ones in guatemala... also the river Rio Dulce connects to the lake Izabal.. other rivers are salamá, Las Vacas, atitlan, pasion, san pedro, los esclavos olopa. |

Lake Izabal is the largest lakein Guatemala. Rio Dulce connects it to the Caribbean. Lake Atitlan, with its volcanoes, is the most beautiful. It is fed by the San Francisco river and the Jaibal river. It has no surface outlets. |

There's the Livingstone river on the southeast side of the country, or Lago Attitlan in the centre. Lago Attitlan is surrounded by volcanoes. Check it out on the internet. |
