Monteverde
Monteverde is a small community lying in the northwestern region of Costa Rica. Quakers founded it in 1951. Monteverde has today grown up to be a popular and interesting destination for both native and global tourists. The forest reserve in the little town of Santa Elena is the neighboring tourist location to the Monteverde .
The road leading from the town's center to the reserve is gathered with tourist attractions, which include the serpentarium, the butterfly garden, many art galleries and a cheese factory.

Corcovado National Park
This national park is an indisputably the most gorgeous place in Costa Rica. It is often considered as one of the main natural reserves in the whole of Americas. The dense and green rain forest park here invites the tourists from all over to admire its beauty. There are about thirteen different vegetation types here, among which the palm swamps, mangroves and blood weed are most important. All this make the Corcovado National Park a dream destination for all the botanists and tourists. You can have your date with the giant anteaters, Jaguars, tapers, hundreds of peccaries, and a congregation of uncommon rain forest animals that live in the enormous surrounding of the lagoon at the center of the park. The attractive exquisiteness and beauty of the forest, its coastline, pristine beaches and boisterous waterfalls catch the attention of tourists globally.

CaƱo Island and Biological Reserve`
CaƱo Island has been among the most excellent in the world. It is ranked among the world's most recent hot spots for enjoying adventure sports, like diving. It is located towards the Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the southwest, about 30 miles off. This virgin island offers a great amalgamation of exclusive diving destinations.
Other interesting things to watch out at this island are; The Devil's Drop rock pile, the volcanic origin rock formations, cup coral and sea fans. As the CaƱo Island has been considered as a Biological Reserve, the sport of diving is regulated here. This is one of the most captivating tourist attraction

Beaches of Costa Rica
If you are exhausted seeing around Costa Rica, just swim in the beaches or relax on the seaside of the beaches in Costa Rica. The Pacific coast offers a pleasant blend of luxury resorts and serene beaches. Located on the southern Pacific coast is Golfito, which is a significant port and a key tourist attraction in the fantastic coastal region. As you would head towards the northeast direction from the city, you are sure to find copious remote caves, accommodation in lodge and hotel and pacifying rain forest scenery. On your tour to Costa Rica, you can also tour the Osa Peninsula, the richest biological zone in Mesoamerica.

Other tourists attractions in Costa Rica include, the quintessential tropical river Pacuare, and Tortuguero National Park.

It depends on what you want to see. The northern pacific beaches of Tamarindo are are nice and dry, lots of peole and partying, still good surfing and nightlife.

If your intrested in rural towns head to san ramone anf taste the real costa rica.

I prefer the area around mal pais and montezuma, cant go wrong there.

For a safe and awsome stay with cool folk 5 min from airport, check out

Canopy tram outside of San Jose, Tours can be arranged once there. Surfing best on Pacific North side.
Monetverde cloud forest on the North Pacific side.
Monkeys and Alligators ont he Pacific south end, I love Manuel Antonio area. Jungle tours by small boat up into the rainforest where the sea turtles lay their eggs on the Caribbean north end. I am a travel agent and been there 6 times. You will love the place but fly into San Jose and then go to the area that has what you are looking for. Check internet too for more info.
