There are an endless number of beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. To make sure you enjoy the sun and waves safely, it is a good idea to never swim alone, ask a ranger or local about possible dangers, do not leave any valuables unguarded on the beach, and always remember the sunscreen! You can find them in different regions list below:
North Pacific: Papagayo Gulf, Tamarindo Beach, Ostional Beach, Blanca Beach, Hermosa Beach, Conchal Beach, Brasilito Beach, Flamingo Beach, etc.
Central Pacific: Hermosa Beach, Naranjo Beach, Tambor Beach, Quizales Beach, etc.
South Pacific: Ballena Beach, Zancudo Beach, Bahia Drake, Pavones Beach, Uvita Beach, Dominical Beach, etc.
Caribbean: Manzanillo Beach, Cocles Beach, Tortuguero Beach, Gandoca Beach, Punta Uva, etc. |

If your going to west CR, in the guanacaste provence, id suggest going to playa conchal, and playa del coco, both very beautiful! |
