I hope you realize that jobs in Guatemala do not pay much.
Many people get jobs teaching English. You might look into working at a bar or restaurant that caters to tourists. Some people work at hostels, but often just for a free room. You could join the Peace corps. I see a lot of small businesses run by foreigners. The are often shops, restaurants and cafes. I met a young German lady who worked at a travel agency. It helped that she spoke a number of languages. And, I suppose there are jobs with international companies, if you have the right skills.
Most of these jobs would best be found by just going there and asking around. Once in the country, you will meet a lot of people from other parts of the world living there. Ask them. |
