The main products of Costa Rica are agricultural...fruit and coffee exports are way up on the list. As far as industries are concerned, the tourism industry had over 2 million visitors last year, and it is expected to be a bit more than that this year.
You can visit the TicosLand.com directory for more information about Costa Rica.

There's Riviana Pozuelo..delicious cookies!

Dos Pinos, they have ice cream, milk, sour cream etc..yum.

Lizano, OF COURSE! Costa Rica's famous Salza Lizano, they recently came out with some refried beans...they're great.

and I'm gonna have to disagree with the answer about Dos Pino's Orange juice...I think it's the best Orange Juice I've tasted!!

TOurism is the biggest single money producer. This includes sex tourism which is legal in Costa Rica (prostitution is legal but the government is against child prostitution, at least on paper. Sex tour ads are sometimes very blatent, someimtes not quite so.) Coffee and bananas are next. Also sugar, which is the basis of the current president's wealth. Financial instruments, semi offshore banking is a growing field (concern, some may say).

Recently land promotions has made a few people big bucks. It is starting to make a lot of losers now.

Costa Rica is pushing high tech services, with many call centers for many companies tht can use stelephone product support. It is producing a lot of lines of computer code for the big companies on contract and for its own so far smaller companies.

(Bimbo is a Mexican company, with subsidiaries throughout central american and in the U.S.)
