What are the major Mayan ruins in Costa Rica?

No Maya in Costa Rica, but you can find the ruins of dozens of native people (some actually exist today) that kept trade with Mayans. If you like ruins of ancient civilizations, you should visit the archaeological site of Guayabo which still has a working ancient aqueduct and a stone road. Remember: the main difference between Mayans and the natives of Costa Rica is that Costarican natives used gold, iron (pure iron, not steel), and jade in their jewellery and weapons while Mayans exclusively used stone.

No Mayan ruins. There is an indigenous group called the Chorotega who may be related to the Maya.

I do not know of any. Costa Rica is one of hte few countries in the region that has little or no signs of pre-Colombian architecture.

We don't have mayans in Costa Rica. Costa Rica is one of the countries of Central america where they were no really big indian cultures. We have telires and huetars and bruncas and chorotegas and cabecars but no mayans, sorry. We do have some indian ruins in the Central area howver that are an enigma worldwide. They are in the Guayabo monument and they are solid rock big circumpherences and no one knows how they could have been built becuase of its size and perfect contruction. Just in case you were looking for indian ruins in Costa Rica.
