Why not go look at www.dominical.biz there are hotels & rooms etc, usually you can choose by ratings, they group them according to accomodations levels....many nice inexpensive rooms/bungalows/cabins/ etc are of an abundance with a little searching you may find something perfect for you. Remember that seasonal rates will vary prices, right now is th high season it is dry & most holidays increase the costs. Costa Rica is predominently Catholic which means Catholic holidays influence bigtime. Easter is now approaching so watch your rates & compare to later in the year, many go half! Enjoy~ Consider Jaco as a place for inexpensive rates, it resembles Keywest style, surfer heaven...lots of inexpensive places to stay & still not too terribly far to visit Manuel Antonio. I would suggest some places we stayed, but we paid much more than the $ you speak of. Good luck! Enjoy~

Best deal in town is the La Sirena Hotel, but its located near the Kamuk in Quepos so not closer then the kamuk. www.lasirenahotel.com
For the price you cannot beat it and it has much more of a Costa Rica feel then the Kamuk..

Kamuk is in Quepos and not close to the park. There is hotel velabar by the park. And El Mono Azul which is on the mountain. Do you want to be walking distance to the park or are you willing to take a short bus ride? There are hostels also.
