Go to a shop and see!!!

Your question is kind of strange. You mean a cup of coffee (half dollar to 1 dollar) expresso or capuccino. A bag of 250 gr of coffee to prepare (between one dollar to $3) local quality or exportation ones.

high grade costa rican coffee at the airport was 3.99 a lb
at a local farm it is about 1.00 lb for the same thing before bagging in a shiny paper aluminum bag for export.it depends on where you buy it and from whom. a farmer might sell you some just going there to watch them pick the beans, but then come out to the local raodside and it costs twice as much.
frankly i still prefer colombian coffee to any i have had, over african asian russian, costa rican panamanian and any where else, i was raised in it and simply prefer it and nothing takes it place, but others have a bit more kick also, i brought coffee back, and people at work stopped drinking it cause it made there ears ring from the caffiene, but then some can be mixed also with tree bark and dark beans and it really has a kick, dont try the whole pot though.
so it is simply dependant on what it is where it is from and how well it was roasted and ground, and frankly i hate turkish coffee!

I ususally pay $2.00 per pound of good coffee. The same thing here is $10.00/pound. I usually bring 6-8 pounds of coffee home with me when I travel to Central America.

Good luck on your report!
