Rainforest is really interesting because you get to see a lot of animals and plants you wouldn't see anywhere else. Unfortunately, there are several risks related to that enormous biodiversity. There are several deceases that can be transmitted through mosquitoes or other animals, such as Yellow Fever. If you travel to any tropical country, you should get vaccinated at least 10 days prior to your trip, and you should be fine. Another preventive measure is not drinking water from wells or rivers, unless it's been boiled. Untreated water can carry bacteria, which can make you sick in a matter of hours, and totally ruin your trip.
You have to wear protective clothes (pants, instead of shorts, and rubber boots instead of snickers), because it helps bugs or other animals from biting you or crawling under your clothes. Most snakes, for example, crawl in the ground, so if your ankles are unprotected (as they are when you wear regular shoes), you could get bitten.
An obvious danger is getting lost in the middle of the forest. You should always stay with the tour guide, who knows the area, and, in case of an emergency, is probably trained in first aid, too. |

Been there. Almost Done that.

All the exotic animals, they might bite, attack you, or there may be diseases lurking in the forest that many people are unaware of. |

If you don't invent to doing anything out of the common and follow the tourism's guide orientation, do not have anything of dangerous.
But if you think of swiming near the ariranhas , to catch alligator in the lap, to fish piranhas, certainly there will be danger otherwise it is only to appreciate the travel |
