What are three of Latin America's legal cash crops?

For a geography extra credit thingy

Show all answers

dougger
Bananas, coffee, coconut (almost all processed and sold as oil). These are the traditional cash crops but they are changing. Soy bean (mostly sold processed) is now an important crop. Cotton is important. In cold spots a lot of more typically northmen crops are important for cash. Apples, grapes, pears plums, nectarines are sold to Europe and the USA in increasing amount.

Asking about Latin America this way is really ttoo vague it has a huge spread in latitude and altitude, much more than the USA.
