1st - You cam Write about Treaty of Tordesilhas, that treaty divided South America in 2 parts 1 breaks to Portugal and other to Spain.
2nd - You can write on the attempt of Holland, France and England in establishing in South America a colony. And would have result in the countries of Suriname, Guyana and Malvinas (Falklands).
3rd - Write about the Brazilians, descending of Dutchmen, that went to North America and they founded the city of New york.
4º Portuguese and Spanish are the most spoken languages in South America Portuguese is spoken which 50% of the South American population.Spanish is the official language of most countryes, Dutch is the official language of Suriname; English is the official language of Guyana and Falkland Islands, although there are at least twelve other languages spoken in the country such as Hindi, Arabic, and various indigenous dialects . French is the official language of French Guiana.
