Chico is small and when people add ITO (CHIQUITO) means very little. All those words ending in ITO mean TINY.

blkgator
"Chiquito" means "small" in spanish, but on an even more tender way. Original word is "chico" which means small, or kid, but "chiquito" is what you say when trying to sweet-talk to someone. There's also a dirty way to say it, it all depends on the emphasis and tone.

Doethineb
"Tiny little". "Chico" means small in an affectionate sense -- small and cute. The ending -ito adds a diminutive, making it even cuter.
