Every Latin American country people dress alike, but there are natives who wear their own suit. In Guatemala these suits are very colorful and differente from each other, but actually who wears one of these also wears jeans, skirts, etc.
You know, the clothes used by people in United States and Europe are accepted everywhere. |

Almost every city in Guatemala has it's own traditional type of clothes, each have a different name for them. Most of the women wear their traditional dresses. Where my husband is from, the women's shirt is called a juipil, and the skirt is called a corte. They are handmade, brightly colored, and come in a variety of colors. The juipil has lots of flowers/embroidery on it. The men mainly wear regular clothes...jeans/pants & shirt. Teenagers & children wear either regular clothes or the traditional clothes. |

Basically same like here. You know all the clothing collection boxes on the side of the road? They get shipped to countries like Guatemala, and are sold at stores called paca. |

Wll Indians in Guatemala dress in their own dresses Huipil and corte for women.In Guatemala there are 23 etnic groups so imagine so colourful and nice is each town or village.... Guatemala is though a contrasts country. People in the cities dress exacty as some one in New york to go to the theatre...
