There are mansions, normal houses, and sadly, in shanty towns, houses made of whatever they can find in the dump. Mainly in Managua, we have plenty of gated communities with security, a gym, a tennis court, ect. It is just like anywhere else in the world. One thing very common in houses here is the security. Bars, locks, barbwire, gates ect.

Depending on the area.
There are all kinds of houses, from the mud floored ones to the most amazing buildings.

i went to managua, masaya, granada, corinto, leon san juan del sur and 90% of the houses are made out of mud or sticks and bags. i saw some regular houses but half painted half mud i didnt see any nice houses at all. Nicaragua is extremely poor the poorest in central america so you can just imagine.
