i wouldn't take the opinions of people on yahoo too seriously. i dont think it is a problem because everyone in this country is an immigrant expect for American Indians.as long as you come here legally no problem.

if they are here legally, i dont care where people are from.

ColombianitoNY- NO MAS GUERRA!
I think we make this country better...I mean, not just Colombians, all latin americans...but you are talkign about Colombians..Well, there are some people that dont understand that sometimes Colombians have to come here illegally because of the situation, but yeah..I am legal, and what i am trying to do is to make people understand that Colombians are not what they think, and i think i am doing a great job, they know i am nice, great person and everything... I think we are a great part of this country...i hope Northamericans understand that Colombia is not what tey think...

You are Colombian, arent you??

Colombia is passion

My grandparents and my father and his siblings are all Colombians living in the USA they all have jobs and have been sworn United States Citizens.. So, what's your question..? If they didn't live here I wouldn't have been born my mother in from the United States. I think it's fine as long as immigrints follow the rules and laws abiding United States Citizens.. My grandparents learned english had jobs and paid taxes just like a regular american citizen would...

If they are legal and have followed all the rules then they are more than welcome in my mind.

If they are living here legally than it is fine. But if they sneeked into the country and take all our jobs and stuff. This doesn't only go for Colombians. It's anybody who is in this country illegally. This I'm not o.k. with that. If they are here illegally then they need to go back.

Most Colombians are hard working, law-abiding citizens that actually contribute to the US society. It is a great shame that because of the few the most are automatically degraded and frowned-upon.

I would welcome the opportunity to anyone who speaks negatively about Colombians to go to the source: the country, and find out for themselves.

Americans, give Colombians a chance.
