Coquetear is a verb, and it means to flirt. Coqueto means smething nice, slightly preppy and/or cocky.

could mean she think your a stuck up a-hole because you weren't talking to anyone. can mean vain as well as flirt

Its a bit hard for there is many words in Spanish with not accurate translation to English, but I´ll try. (I am from Bolivia by the way). It is a word used in every country in South America, not only Colombia and it can be applied both to male or female (coqueto, coqueta). It does mean that a person is assuming a sexy attitude and at the same time flirting with other but not in a bad way. You also say "coqueta" to a girl that likes to look pretty. Some time when a person spends to much time in front of a mirror you say, "come on, don´t be so coqueta(o)". But as I said, it is not bad thing to say to somebody.

Coquete could mean she found you attractive or handsome, depends of the tone she used when she said it. But literally is Flirt
