Sarong is a piece of clothes that u can use to cover up your body. Usually they're used in the beaches, and it's commonly wear by female.
Maybe you can check these links below:

Hope this can help :)

it is a piece of cloth to cover you....like towel...the difference is the texture of the cloth. the cloth itself is handmade and weave by locals..from asia....

It is a piece of material commonly used at the beach! You wear it over the bottom half of your Bikini/Swim Suit.....they are usually coloured and really nice....just something to throw over you when walking around the beach....they can be long or short and you tie it to one side!

Hope that helped

It is a large (about the size of a towel or bigger) piece of thin fabric, traditionally tied around the body to cover you up. Mostly worn in Fiji, Indonesia and other humid island countries.

Alternatively, they can be much much smaller and triangular shaped just to tie around your waist only and cover your hips a bit.

Hey there, a sarong is a wrap around skirt (for want of a better word). Almost a long rectangle piece of material. Very popular in beach type places.
It is originally from Malaysia I believe and is worn by both men and women.
It can be tucked around the waist or up under the armpits.
