Chile has nice food like sopaipillas, pastel de choclo, poroto con riendas, etc. But the irony is that the top 3 restaurants in Santiago are peruvian.... to tell you the truth (I've lived in both countries) peruvian food is much much better than chilean food. Chile has all the ingredients but they lack flavour. Sorry chileans, it's just my opinion after living there for 4 years and in Lima for 3.

I was just there, and to tell you the truth, there wan't a lof food I found very different there than in other latin american countries. One thing I can tell you NOT to eat that they say is form there is french fries with eggs and cheese on top. It's weird and not very tasty. We ate a lot of meat while we were there. Lamb and beef.
