Renaissance man
Cuba, although part of the Greater Antilles, is nonetheless considered part of North America along with the island of Hispaniola, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, the US Virgin Islands, etc. The Greater Antilles is a region within North America.

I've added a link below that includes a map and detailed explanation.

BTW some are mixing continents with regions. Central America is also a region within the continent of North America which extends from Greenland, Canada and Alaska in the extreme north to the Panama/Columbia border or the Panama Canal. Opinions differ on this southern boundary.
