What is rent like in Costa Rica?
I'm thinking of moving to Costa Rica. Is rent cheap? What's avg.
depends where, on the beach, mountain or city. it could go from $300 big nice house near the alajuela, heredia area. on the beach could be around $450/500

like $1500 a month if you want to rent a comfortable house all depends of what you are looking for☺☻

Depends on what you're renting. You can rent an adequate (kinda small) condo/apartment or small house for like a few hundred a month. A bigger house though, would be much more expensive.
It also depends on the area you'd be living in, and how tourist-y it is.

Lots cheaper than here in the States!
A person can live like a king for only $600.00 usd a month!
Nice single quarters in and around Quepos for $250.00 - $300.00 per month!

cheap comparing to US.
a 3 room house with garage, in a residential zone, about $500-$600.
if youre looking for a house US style and facilities, about $1000 and $1500 (pool, jacuzzi, nice view, BBQ).

I think you should be able to get a nice flat for the modest fee of two chickens and a llama. 8^|
