Ambato - the town where they produce jeans.

Avenida Naciones Unidas
Entre 6 de Diciembre y Avenida América, Quito, Ecuador

This is an important artery on the north side of the city, constructed between 1970 and 1990. There are administrative buildings, residential areas, shopping facilities and recreation centers, located all along this avenue which goes through most of the renowned Parque La Carolina. Most of the buildings along its length were constructed during the 80's, except for some structures like the Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa, erected in 1950, and currently in the process of being renovated. One of the biggest shopping centers in the city is situated along this avenue: El Quicentro Shopping, where you will find the best movie theaters, with the latest in technology. That is just a sign of the changes that this city has undergone.
