Cartagena is nice(their Venice) and along that side of the coast.But i wouldn't recommend Bogata.Over mountain is Medellin and that's ok.But it's
quite a distance from the first to last.Don't show jewellery around your neck.

December is pretty much a month long holiday in Colombia. Bogota is one big party. As far as it being dangerous, it is like any large city. Just don't leave home with more than you are willing to lose. The northern part of the city is relatively safe.

first its colombia.. second of all its awesome, maybe buy a guide in a book shop and read it ... go to cartagena, bogota, medellin and go by road cus its not dangerous by road anymore and the view is awesome
