I am planning a trip to south america and central america in september. I am not really sure where to start and finish so am looking for any advise on routes to take at this time of year.... should I ...
Me and my friends want to go somewhere as our senior trip but we are not sure where yet. Where should we go that's hot year round and full of latin/hispaic culture???...
One person mentioned Montezuma. It does not have white sand beaches but it is a great town. Small but great nonetheless. There is a nice resort called Playa Tambor about 20 minutes away. It's all inclusive and very nice. The only thing is there is no 'big' town nearby.

Montezuma on the Nicoya peninsula is a nice place to visit, party and enjoy beautiful beaches. There's an awesome waterfall just outside of town and lots to do.

White sandy beaches can be found in Parque Nacional Manueal Antonio out stide of Quepos CR. Most places are family friendly, check out El mono azul for a hotel. Also up in the nicoya peninsula is also pretty, but the waves are less child friendly. Also consider Cahuita in teh Carribean. There are white sandy beaches, monkeys in the tress and snorkeling.
costa rica
Costa Rica doesnt have a lot of white sandy beaches, most are grey, black from volcanic ash.,
Playa Conchal is an exception but you have to stay at the Paradisus Playa Conchal resort to access it.

This is a tough one. Costa Rica has few white sand beaches if that is your priority. White sand comes more from Coral and Costa Rica's beaches are of volcanic origin. I would say Playa Conchal or somewhere nearby in Guanacaste.
