Anywhere in the Northside of Bogota. For example Santa Barbara, El Retiro, La Cabrera, Bosque de los pinos, La Carolina, La Bella Suiza.. All these are very nice upscale neighboorhoods.

Take Care..

My husbands family lives in the Kennedy neighborhood of Bogota and he says it's like middle class.

You should ask this same question on www.colombianblog.com you will get much better answers and more of them than you will here...

Good Luck !

If you have tonnes of cash to spare the nicest neighbouhoods would be Chicó, Chicó Norte, El Nogal and better still LOS ROSALES! (A flat is around US 330,000+)

If however you want a cosy neighbouhood of a flat around US $ 115,000 then the centre-most area would be Salitre. I have some pictures if you want them.

There are several good neighborhoods in Bogota. Most of them are at the North and the Northeast side of the City.
Bogota is a big City so, you have to keep in mind some things when thinking of buying ( Nearby schools, your work place, your son's univerity, etc).
Other important thing is thinking about how much money you're planning to spend on it. In Bogota stratification ( the way to measure cost of public utilities, property taxes,i.e) is measured by blocks, so in a good neighborhood you can find and expensive apartment, and just few blocks away find a good deal.
I hope this helps. For more information go to www.buycolombiarealty.com
