there is one FREE way to call equador OR any other place in the world, the only thing necessary is cable internet or dsl.

go to www.skype.com its a messenger where you can chat or CALL anyone world wide for free and speak to them directly from your computer for hours and not pay a cent.

its simple, go tthe website, check first if it necessary to have dsl or not, that im not sure, check. but then simply download it (its all FREE not kidding) and sign up with your own screen name. have the person in equador or anywhere else in the world, do the same thing, download it and sign up. and call! its extremly simple.

i live in italy and speak to my parents in the states for free using skyep, i also have relatives in equador and have also spoke to them using skype all for free.

however, for other options there is also a way you can pay IF you want, for example if you want to use skype as a real phone, where you get a phone number and have an answering machine or whatever. but other than that, you are FREE to use it as a simple call, you do NOT need a number to call, just double click on the person you wish to speak and it calls automatically to the other person. you need also a speaker to your computer if you computer doesnt have one (many dont). just buy one and connect it to your usb and there you go.

buy at any spainish store or agency best think its cheap
and you wont have a big phone bill

Its not the cheapest way, but Comcast digital voice is cheap as HELL. I dont worry about getting calling card any more.

Many would thought phone cardwould be cheap wrong !, Ecuador average over 5 cents, plus likely of not accurate talk time which i mean often they count more minutesthan u actual use, u can't do nothing cause u can't called them unlike phone company. but i think the cheapest way and also one of the best one is for sure is Skype !, average 2 cents to called Ecuador !, great quality, is computer based, basically u use pc (need microphone, head set) u can called any phone line in the world. all actually cost no more than 2 cents per minuted. if other person got skype is totally free, might be change next year, so tatke advange if can.
