This question is too much open. I mean, there are a lot of variants. Depend on the city you want to leave and how you intend to live (big city, small city, good neighbor, etc).
To travel you can also consider what kind of place you will stay, what city you will visit. Visit Rio de Janeiro is much more expensive that visiting Fortaleza. Visiting cities in the cost is much more expensive that visiting cities inside the country.
Just to give you more information:
- Living in São Paulo (the biggest city in Brazil) - Rent an apartment in a place not so far away can cost you about R$ 900~R$1000 per month(about US$ 530 ~ 580) only the rent. YOu will need to buy everything to put inside the apartment. An apartment with all furniture (we call "flat apartment") can cost about R$1800 (about U$1000) per month.
- travelling in Brazil - a hotel in the Brazilian cost can cost about R$250 per night (about US$150) excluding Rio de Janeiro. You can have a good meal by R$30 in a good restaurant (US$18).
It is hard to give you more information without more details. |

I am Brazilian, and the most expensive city to live is the Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo because they are the major metropoles of Brazil.
But the best city to live is Santa Catarina. |
