I think Venezuela is the only country in Southamerica where Baseball is more popular than soccer by far. It is actually the national sport...

Baseball

although they have a feeble football league as well.

El Beisbol! (Baseball)
Shout out to my favoutie team, Los Leones de Caracas :D

They also have a decent futbol ("soccer") league. Venezuela is the only country in South America that was never played inthe FIFA World Cup - but their national team, La Vinotinto, although never really being very strong, has recently improve a heck of a lot :)
Hopefully they'll make it to the 2010 cup!

Soccer, aka futball. Compared to the rest of Latinamerica they also play a lot of baseball there but soccer is the main sport by far.
