i live here and there is lot of places. depends on the budget and the time. sunny or rainy, beach or mountain, pacific or Caribbean. but anywhere you go is great. montezuma is like a paradise, a beach with a small, small town that has everything, also has 2 rivers with waterfalls that you can swim in it. there is a lot to do there and is reasonable budget for anyone... at la fortuna there is the arenal volcano, you can see the active volcano throwing lava. sometimes is cloudy but depends where you are located after midnight it clears and you can see the lava or glow... another is jaco beach, night life is great and lots of surfers go there. monteverde cloud forest there are to many neat stuff you can see and try. puerto viejo is in the Caribbean beach, has a Caribbean style and many people go there and you'll hear regge all day long. also in the Caribbean you have tortuguero park, that's where you can see turtles... there are many places here to see, stay and enjoy... anything else just ask'

Manuel Antonio!

The most highly visited national park/monument is Poas volcano. If you look at tours of Costa Rica that are offered, Arenal volcano is included in almost all of them. After Poas and Arenal I am not sure what the rankings would be. However I am sure that Manuel Antonio and Monteverde are in the top 5-6 places.

Manuel Antonio Park on the west coast of Costa Rica which is World famous! Its a Nature Park/Beach of World Renown!

They have so many people visiting it at times they have to limit the number of people in the park so that it is not destroyed by the crowd.
