I think the best place would be Costa Rica. Costa Rica has the best and most diverse rainforests with abundant flora and fauna in the world. It is home to pristine waterfalls and wonderful beaches. The people there are more open to tourists than in Mexico, as Mexicans could rip you off unlike Costa Ricans.

Even Cuba could get dangerous at times. Puerto Rico is definitely good with its multicultural Latin American diversity and its closeness to America. But, overall Costa Rica with its diversity of people, cultures, wildlife, rainforests and natural beauties, will intrigue you the most. Best of luck with your trip to Costa Rica!

Puerto Rico # 1

Rafael G
Any of them are beautiful just keep in mind:
Cuba and Puerto Rico are islands
Costa Rica don't has a well resort services.
Mexico is a very very big country and the distances could be very larges

But all 4 are beautiful

I live in Puerto Rico.Besides being the safest one.It has it's beauty the "rainforest" wich is a nice place where many people go to and walk down to a tour where u climb stairs to watch the beach and everything from a high view. San Juan is the capital city and it's like the New York of Puerto Rico with many great hotels and beaches and shops and museums. It also has it's beaches wich are clear but when u head more west u can see the great plains with many agriculturing and history with alot of great views. There aren;t much forest unless you go to "el bosque seco de guanica" full of life and plants and the guides go up the the light house there in the same place wich is also great(bring water and make it plenty).Stay close ot the north though because it is more populated and nicer. You must also see "las cuevas de camuy"
underwater river, bas and all that.I dunno how costa rica is but i think u shoudl give Puerto Rico a try if u want to have a good communcation because alot of people speak english here so it's easy to get around. I reccomend to stay in San Juan. But u know what if u are lookign for exotic, look towards costa rica.

I can't fairly comment on the others, but I lived in CR for 16 months and can verify the 1st comment is extremly accurate. Even more so... Costa Rica has every climate you can think of. The mountains (Heredia specifically) actually get VERY COLD (I lived there for a few months) The beaches are fabulous and range from extra touristy to private and lmost erie (because they're beautiful and you'd think they should be packed, but they're not) The ranforests are breathtaking... and yet there are cities and towns that experience mild weather year round, with the exception of lots of rain during the wet season! Just about the only climate you won't experience is arctic! Hope this helps!

UPDATE: some of the resorts in Costa Rica would blow your mind... The Four Seasons where Pink got married! There are plenty of resorts to fit any budget... it also depends on what you want.. to be catered to.. or party and relax with the locals!!!
