I don't think the expression "INCA STAIRWAY" is correct. To the amusemente of most of us peruvians, stairway in Quechua is Patapata (that's why we call leg "Pata" instead of "Pierna").

What you might be asking for could be the "INKA ROADWAY", that in Quechua is called: Qapaq Ñan (camino real, royal road). This was the roadway that conected the whole Inka empire from Southern Colombia all the way down almost reaching Santiago Chile and from the pacific ocean to the andes mountains.

Today the most famous stretch of the Qapaq Ñan system is what we call The Inka Trail, a hidden road that only takes you to Macchu Picchu from a point near Ollantaytambo.

The inca starway are the different inca trails i mean the stonemasonry, most of the inca trails in the region of Machupicchu are beatifully paths made of white granite stone.
