What is the traditional clothing and music like in Venezuela?

I am doing a report on Venezuela, and am needing some much-needed help. Please answer if you happen to have a good understanding on either of these topics.

traditional clothing:
http://images.google.es/images?hl=es&q=liqui+liqui&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi
We call it "liqui liqui" (its also the traditional clothing n some parts of colombia), usually it is white or any light color, but u can see theres a picture with a blue liqui liqui, but usally its white and its for men, but sometimes women also use liqui liqui but instead f pants, they use a skirt..
and theres another one wich is n the frist pic, thats the traditional clothing for women..

traditional music:
Salsa and merengue (like n any other latin american country) is very common, usually there isnt a party where they dont play salsa an merengue at least 1 or 2 hours.
Joropo: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joropo
Gaita: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaita_%28music_style%29
(Its from Zulia state, but n christmas its our traditional music so we listen to it all over venezuela. Christmas with no gaitas isnt christmas! and the same happens with "aguinaldos")
Tambor (tambor literally means drum): It represents our African influence and its also played a lot in parties but not as much as salsa and merengue.
Calypso (common n carnival): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calypso_music
and we also dance "samba" (brazil) n carnival.

And I think in Venezuela's history, Simon Diaz and Reynaldo Armas have been the "best" (or at least some f the best) singers and composers ever (talking about traditional music)

Pudding
Music = salsa and merengue and by the carribean, tambores. And it's all fantastic.

Ninavzla has a good answer.
the traditional suit is the "liqui liqui" it was originally brought to Venezuela from the Philippines.
As for traditional music we have "musica llanera" from "los llanos" Simón Diaz and Reinaldo Armas.
At Christmas time we have "gaitas" from the state of Zulia and "parranda music" from the coasts. Guaco sing gaitas and I belive Un Solo Pueblo sings parranda. You can also look up Soledad Bravo.
Salsa and Merengue are very popular but they are not originally from Venezuela.
