Panas= guys, friends, mates, brothers, buddies.

Anakassandra
Pana (single), panas (plural) is the street word used for Buddie in Venezuela.

xtremeausvenezuela
Pana means Buddy and you can use it with boys and girls.. although normally we refer to boys when we call someone like that..

Cookie H
It can also be "pal, buddy, friend".
Or it can also mean a kind of fabric to make clothing.

gserrado
brotha, friend,

I think the best translation is "dude"... all above are ok.(friend, brother) .but 4 me "un pana" is definitively "dude"...
What's up dude? = ¿qué fue mi pana?

apple
If is in malay, panas means hot ie, the pot is hot. Or the weather today is 'hot' (warm).
