i lived in ecuador for five years, and i can tell you that quito is hot, but not humid during october with ocassional raining. manta, guayaquil, and mindo are generally humid and you should expect some rain. These rainstorms don't usually last too long.

The Weather in october is hot... but a small bit of rain ... Like 3 times a month:)

It is quite hot, but not at all humid. Much better than places in the U.S. It does rain quite a bit, but it never, thunderstorms.
