Aussie...Oy!
Colombia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, mainly for its landscapes. For example, in the north you can find a beach...and some steps ahead, you will find a Mountain (it's called the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta).
If you travel around the country, you can find desert in the north, meadows in the east, jungles in the west and the south, and the centre with many mountains, where the main cities are located.
From people, I can say 'all' the people is warm with others...almost a big part of its population is. Un fortunately, you can also find some bad people...but anything in this world is perfect...
It doesn't matter, as its tourism is great, and many agencies make promotions to know even more this country. Don't forget visiting:
*The main cities: Bogota, Medellin, Cali and Barranquilla, and also the historical cities of Santa Marta and Cartagena. You will find many places to know, and obviously, for taking pictures!
* The northern beaches...are awesome places to rest
* The 'Coffee Zone', where coffee plants are planted. You would receive a cup of the world's best coffee every morning
And many other places this country has to offer

Beautiful people, culture and country.

It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been (over 36 countries visited).

The people are super chevere and the place is nowhere as dangerous as it has been in the past. President Uribe should be commended on the success of the country since he was first elected.

The country still has some idiot FARC guerrillas hanging out but they are dwindling fast. The country has sooo much to offer in tourism and culture it is a shame the violence of the past has tainted their reputation.

Viva Colombia! NO MAS FARC!

I think HIGADO lives in a paralel reality. I was recently there and it is such beautiful country!! super nice people, beautiful places to see, thbeaches are awesome (google Tayrona Park). It seems that everything has changed there since the curren president was elected...everyone talks about him and how wonderful his government has been, since it has decreased violenece a lot and now tourists can safely go there. I think he has like 80% popularity which is unreal!! I really encourage you - if you are thinking of going- to visit the country.
