Many things mentioned fit in the profile of other countries as well, so I'm going to be more specific.

Ceviche is a seafood dish that can't be made the same elsewher. Consists on fresh fish meat &/or shellfish cooked in lemon and very spiced up with Chili pepper, salt, pepper, garlic and ginger root then mixed with strings of freshly cut onion and complemented with Sweet Potato and corn. Peru has a very distinctive Lemon, our rainless wheather along the coast makes all citric products to generate a strong acid taste, our lemon is so acid that it chemicaly cooks anything.

Pisco Sour is a cocktail made from Pisco, a 40ΒΊ destilled liquor from grapes, mixed with lemon, egg white and sugar. Served frozen with a drop of Bitter or cinnamon powder. They say that it's like the woman's breast, one is too few and three too many!

Macchu Picchu is a hidden city in the border between the highlands and the jungle. On top of a mountain so it could not be seen from the river below. Built around 1450-1470 and abandoned long before the arrival of the spaniards in 1532.

The cold water current of Humboldt makes our beaches unique. It never rains year around near the coast, there are supperb waves for surfers and no Sharks at all despite that we are close to the equator

Tricky question ...... well, Peru has the most ancient city in all America (Caral), the first University ever founded in America (Saint Marcus), Machu Picchu (old Incan city) is one of the modern Seven Wonders of the world. It has almost every weather and climate conditions in the world within its territory, Peru has one of the most extensive biodiversity in the whole world, It has broke the record of more traditional dishes in recent events (over 6000), you can practice almost every outdoor sport in Peru...... the list is huge! and of course, its people its what makes it unique. We are very friendly, well most of us at least. Want to find out more, just ask.
