well, people on native tribes here in costa rica are so so so poor.
You could give them some mosquito nets, blankets, clothes, cooking stuff or some basic things.
also, you could give children some toys. |

I would highly recommend something that is nice, but practical, such as towel or linen sets, a decorative blanket or quilt, a decorative basket, etc. These people are very poor, so the gift should be functional as well as sentimental. |

A practical gift is the best. I recommend anything that is cooking related, like a big pot or frying pan or large spoons etc. Since these items can be expensive in CR and are always useful.
However, do not do what a friend of my got for a family years and years ago one that is teflon coated, since they might think it is dirty and the mom spent a day scrubbing the non-stick surface off. |
