What trail is this in Machu Picchu, Peru?

I'm trying to figure out what mountain/trail this person was hiking when he took this picture of Machu Picchu?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Peru_Machu_Picchu_Sunrise_2.jpg

I would like to hike the area, but I want to choose the trail that takes me to this point, where I see this view of Machu Picchu.

That picture was not taken from the trail, it was taken from a site on the ruins themselves. When you get to the ruins through the main gate (past the Machu Picchu sanctuary lodge), you can climb up to your left towards a hut that has an open side and a straw roof, close to a strange looking rock that kinda looks like a boat. That's were the picture was taken from.
If you like trekking, you can do the Inca trail (the view from the sun portal coming in from the trail is very nice) or you can do Choquequirao (a sister ruin of Machu Pichhu, a little less known).

There are many trails during the tour to machu picchu, but that one takes you to the sungate so called by Hiran Binghan and in addition to it takes you to the agricultural sector as well as you can link the short trail to the broken inca bridge where you can see other amazing view of machupicchu.

There is a trail to Machu Picchu called the "Inca Trail" which is a quite popular way of getting there. However, you can also take a train ride from Cuzco, then a short bus ride up the mountain to the "Santuario Mach Picchu" and stand in the exact same location as the person did who took that picture.

Yay machu picchu is lovely, you will enjoy it!
This picture, though, was taken from the site that you can get to without hiking anywhere, though you can get there by the Inka trail, which you need to do with a tour group, usually.

However you get there, to get to this spot you need to climb a fair way up stairs that are to the left of the main entrance. If you look up when you come in, pretty much the first hut in the that direction is the place you need to be.
