Traditional dances in Peru are divided into three regions: coast (marinera, tondero, festejo), Highlands (huayno, diablada) and Jungle (shipibo and aguaruna dances)
Being a Catholic country with an Inca background there are several traditions like religious processions (October is the month of the Lord of the Miracles), Inti Raymi (June, celebration of the Inca Empire and the god Sun), etc.
Peru is a multi cultural, multi racial country so there are thousands of musical influences. Just google it and you will find lots! These are just a sample of what they have there.

Excese me again Damitz III, could you please refrain from copy/pasting MY answers into yours? did you take the time to check wikipedia? Because if you did so, then you wouldnt have posted that! It is NOT from wiki, they are my own words. I DARE you to prove they are from Wiki. Dont assume that a well written answer in a good english grammar comes from an internet source. Those are my words, therefore you have commited plagiarism and I demmand you either apologise and delete your answer, or just delete your answer as those words are mine and mine only.
Write your own answers, this which you are doing is very rude and illegal. And before writing that the source is wikipedia, take a minute and check it for yourself. Thus, avoid plagiarism which is illegal everywhere.

Ah, and the water balloon thowing is called "Carnavales" and it happens every February during Lent.
