Obama is a socialist
Bail on the Peru Idea. Unless you are dying to see some ancient ruins.. There are better places. For example San Augustin in Colombia has wonderful -and mostly unknown - ruins from 600 AD. I would be sure to see the Galapagos off of Ecuador. Easter Island off of Chile. Iguazu Falls would be on my list as would Angel Falls. I would want to see Cartagena, Colombia - I love the fort. I would want to go to San Andres Colombia. The island is wonderful. I would want to see The drawings of Nazca. Best from the air. I would want to eat a steak in Buenos Aires or Cordoba and I would certainly want to go bird hunting in Uruguay. I would not go to surinam or French Guiana. I would also want to see whales at Gorgona, Colombia. I wouldnt limit myself to one country - if all i had was one trip.

Your Answer:
hi Sean , all south america is really nice ! but perù is amazing , believe me , cultural, adventure, ecological ...you have coast, highland and jungle and lots of culture wherever you go, and in Lima ( the capital) you have the past and the future in the same city , good hotels &hostels , good restaurants , nice pubs , bars & discotheques...i need a lot of time to say everything about Peru , about Machu Picchu , inka trail , Titica Lake , Nazca Lines , the amazon river ( jungle) Colca Canyon , ( the deepeast of the world & condor fly ) our people is very friendly and is the only country in south america where is easy to find people that speak english.
I am travel advisor and i work in the airport here, in case you need information , will be great to help you ... this is my email adress:
