You could compare it to California, the ocean is very cold even in the summer. Viña del Mar & Valparaiso are similar in weather as San Francisco. If you go to the north of Chile it gets hotter like LA, SD.

Santiago is unconfortably hot in the summer (and smoggy) I guess Denver is sort of the same (having a mountain nearby and everything else)

If you go to Chile during summer time, then go to the south, it's beautifull countryside wherever you go

Probably pretty Chilly

:) Sorry had to

The average Winter temperature is 7ºC, and the average Summer temperature 23ºC.

Its really not bad to be honest

I don't know, but it's in the other hemisphere. Seasons are reversed. This is Winter turning to Spring down there now.

Well, Chile is a long, thin country that stretches out, so it actually depends on where you are. For example, once I stayed in Santiago during hot hot weather, then went 2 hours away to the beach where it was very chilly.

the seasons are reversed from north america and europe because they are in the southern hemisphere so it is colder when it is summer up in north america and europe,

it depends though, northern chile is a desert and it can get realllyyyy hot

central chile is temperate and doesnt snow and doesnt usually get over 80-90ºF almost always sunny and it is pleasent in summer but in santiago it can get to 85-90ºF during the day

and southern-central chile can get pretty "chilly" hhaaha, because it is much cooler and more south its very nice during summer

and patagonia can get really cold and it is sooo windy, but summers are okay, and it is bearable but i dont know its not the nicest

In other words.. the summer is hot hot hot and the winter is bloody cold brrr!
