Hi. I'm in a long distance Relationship and wish to see my sweetheart for Xmas but I (and he) are low on funds. There are several places in the Candelaria that are good and cheap. Fatima is one place that comes to mind. Another is a hotel not far from there on the corner of the Avenida Jimenez and Carrera 4. I've heard Americans talk about staying there for a month or so. I believe that'd be about 900 mil pesos.

You should go into the Bogota website. It has a list of all the hotels in the city, and I think you should try to look for a place close to your bf because if not in the city it takes a long time to get from one place to another. Good luck.

Have you heard of the hostels, we there are a couple in bogota, they are good and cheap, however it is really cheap in colombia
