Sao Paolo, Brasil is the largest city (population) in South America - if this is your question.

By %, a large majority of people in South America live in a coastal city.

What u mean WHERE?
South America is a continent with many countries...I am from Brasil wich is the biggest one , but that are many other countries like: Argentina,Peru,Venezuela,Uruguay,Paragua... Brazil is the biggest one and the only one speak Portuguese ,the others speaks Spanish...
